Family Support

Bespoke community support for families, children and adults in need

Family Support

Here at JMR, we are determined to provide the most comprehensive support options possible to our clients and service users. That’s why we created our bespoke Family Support Service, to bridge the gap between our Crisis Management and Temporary Staffing Services. Allowing us to provide bespoke, care managed community support for families, children and adults in need of support.

Very similar to our Crisis Management Service, our Family Support Team works with local authorities, clinical commissioning groups (CCG’s), hospital teams and families to support our clients in need.

Maintaining our company wide mission to provide the best possible trained staff at a moments notice, our Family Support Service can mobilise a support team within 72 hours of referral.

Types of packages we support and provide:

We take the recruitment and compliance of every JMR staff member very seriously. Constantly evolving and holding ourselves accountable to our regulatory safer recruitment process, we never allow our care management team to see any staff files until they are fully compliant and signed off. We ensure even the missable compliance areas such as overseas checks are consistently completed with NO exceptions.

Our Family Support Service takes advantage of our on call helpline, staffed 24/7 from our Norwich Head Office. When you call JMR Healthcare out of our working hours with an emergency, you can speak to a care manager that is on shift at our Head Office, not just being woken up like some of our competitors, allowing for an unparalleled on-call emergency service for our support staff and clients.

Be it facilitating an infants transition home from hospital, to working with a family in their home to promote independence and offer respite. JMR Healthcare has a plethora of industry leading case studies that evidentially prove our ability to achieve consistent world class caring outcomes. These can be shared with relevant stakeholders on request along with supporting references.

Case Studies

Tom: ASD

Tom was diagnosed with ASD, Early Trauma and learning disabilities as well as struggling with his mental health. Because of this Tom struggles with high levels of anxiety inside and outside of the home, which can lead to destructive behaviour inside his home and occasional aggressive behaviour towards his family.

Tom’s main carers are his family. JMR healthcare are there to support his parents to maintain safety and stability, as well as allowing them time to themselves to relax.

Priya and Aarna: Learning Difficulties

Siblings Priya (aged 5) and Aarna (aged 3) live at home with their mum who also lives with learning difficulties. The children have regular contact with their dad and visit every other weekend.

Priya struggles with speech, language, and learning difficulties. She has also been diagnosed with Global Development Delay. Recently Priya has been showing signs of aggression in nursery, as well as towards her sister.

Aarna is non-verbal. As a result of the family dynamics Aarna has become more unsettled and has begun head banging whilst at home.

Due to the increased behaviour from both children, mum has difficulties managing the children’s safety.
